Patterns

Integrated use

All previous patterns in free combination

    Speaking Practice

Record yourself, listen back, and download anything worth keeping.

    Final unscripted test (record this)

Compare this directly with your Day 1 baseline recording.

Speak for 2–3 minutes about: who you are, why you are in Denmark, your daily life in Aarhus, your family, and what you still find difficult. Do not read — speak freely.

    Survival checklist rapid test

Greet, introduce yourself, and say where you live and work

Ask for directions and a ticket

Order food and ask for the bill

Report a problem in your apartment

Say you don't understand and ask someone to slow down

    Writing Practice

    • Write an honest self-assessment: what you can do now vs Day 1
    • Write your personal plan for the next 30 days of Danish

    Immersion Tasks

    • Listen to Day 1 and Day 30 recordings back-to-back
    • Celebrate the progress
    • Choose 2–3 weak areas to focus on next

    Self-Check

    • Is your Day 30 recording clearly stronger than Day 1?
    • Can you handle core survival situations with reasonable confidence?
    • Do you have a concrete plan for continued practice?
